Privacy Policy (POPIA)

Commodexa (Pty) Ltd processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").

What we collect

Account and company details, KYC/CIPC and licence documents, listing and trade data, and technical data (log-in activity, device/browser information) needed to operate and secure the Platform.

Why we collect it

To verify businesses before they can list or trade, to operate the marketplace and Deal Room, to meet FICA/AML and audit obligations, and to communicate with account holders about their activity on the Platform.

Storage & retention

KYC and compliance documents are stored outside the public media library, access-controlled and access-logged. Data is retained for as long as an account is active plus the period required for regulatory and audit purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may object to certain processing. Contact us via the About & Contact page to exercise these rights.
